A superb premium golden ale with wonderful aromas of Amarillo hops and a lasting spicy and orangy flavour. Cara malt provides a little burnished colour, but the light body belies its strength.

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild citrusy and distinct peachy. Lingering fruity and peachy. Simple and crisp hoppy. Mild sweet fruity and nice fruity finish. Nice.

Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. A clear, golden beer with a dense, off-white head of moderate size. Biscuity malts and nice, fruity hops in the aroma, some citrusy notes. Medium body, rather dry. The flavor has a fine bitterness, biscuity slightly toffeeish malts and a really nice fruityness. A really nice one, easy drinkable and quenching. 100814

Golden colour with a thin head with large bubbles that quickly disipates. The nose is a sweet malty caramel. Not much hops in the nose but this comes through a bit more in the taste. The hop is slightly bitter with citrus. This beer finishs dry

Bottle from Corks of Cotham. Poured a clear amber colour with a thin , dissipating white head. Hops arenโ€™t really leaping out in the nose as I hoped they might have done having read the blurb on the side of the label. Arenโ€™t I gullible. Sweetish and pretty muted with some fruity notes, the seeds of doubt were sown from hereon in. Hops still not shining in the flavour, some biscuity malts, but the palate was all a bit thin and watery. Judging by some of the rates on here, this is obviously pretty tasty on cask, but from the bottle it just doesnโ€™t happen. Disappointing.

Cask at the Harp, London. Pours clear yellow with a foamy, white head. Nice, dynamic harp aroma. Fairly sweet with a good balance. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Finishes with some lingering hops. Good stuff.

Bottled thx to Bullit. Clear golden color, short head. Soft amarillo aroma. Decent bitter taste. Bit floral. Good stuff for a golden ale.

Cask. Clear golden with an off-white head leaving laces. Very fresh hop aroma, exotic rather than citrusy. Medium body, lightly fruity sweet but completely dominated by the delicious hop accents. Excellent. 210211
