Very pale with delicious (and outrageously expensive!) US Amarillo hops, which are earthily aromatic and the beer, highly drinkable.

Half pint, cask at Charlie’s Bar. Low bubbly head that remains at the top of a clear golden coloured body. Plain fruit hoppy aroma. Fresh hoppy taste with a lemony impact. Mid-dry, sharp bitter ending. Quite well bodied. Enjoying (Copenhagen, 23.03.2013).

Aroma has fruity hops, some vanilla and resin. Flavour has fruity hops, some resiny malt and touch of berries. Quite good for this ABV, although the berry notes disturb a bit.

Tap in Aarhus. A bit hazy, golden appearance with a small white head. Somewhat hoppy, straw, a bit citrusy, light grapefruity aroma. Fairly clean, somewhat fruity, light pale malty flavor. For a golden ale, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything to get excited about either.

On gravity at the Barley Mow, Bristol 21/04/2012. Clear gold in colour with a slight white head. Big hoppy aroma of grapefruit and pineapple with a touch of creamy malt. Flavour had more citrus, leading to a hoppy dry finish. Excellent.
