330ml bottle. Poured a clear light brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is light roasty malt, toffee caramel, nutty, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, sweet toffee, nutty, light floral, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Gravicask at 23rd St Albans Beer & Cider Festival. Patchy beige head that laced well, deep copper coloured body. Delicate aroma of mid-sweet malts, hints of bread and dark fruits. Firm taste profile of biscuit, toffee and dark fruits. Rounded malt-driven finish. Nice. (Shared with Finn, 27.09.2018).

Fra gravicask på St. Albans beer & cider festival 2018. Delt med Rune. Rødbrun. Nesten ikke skum. Karamellaroma. Smaken sukkertøy. Syrlig bitter etter hvert.

Half pint on tap at the Minerva, Hull Thin white head. Hazy golden pour. Light bitterness. Not brown at all, why a brown ale?

Bottle from Morrisons. Clear amber body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of tea, nuts and toffee. Flavour of caramel and rust. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A touch too sharp for me to truly love it, but it's great to try a new release from Timothy Taylor.
