2022 750mL bottle from the brewery, drunk 12/30/25, as pictured.
Almost four years on and it's still bursting with fresh, beautiful apricot character in the nose. Biscuit/cracker malt in the background with moderate oak and moderate lactic acidity. No acetic here, thankfully. The apricots absolutely steal the show.
Bright, juicy, acidic, very fruity with wonderful apricot flavor, but a good deal of acid, as SP is wont to do with their fruited sours (though it's become much better in the last year or so). Not acetic, so it's bearable, and the apricot is fantastic. But yeah...this is cringe/pucker levels of acid (though it clears pretty quickly). Could be better complexity, as well (Brett, funk, oak, etc...)

FLN, nice tart and sweet funk, medium high acidity, not an apricot bomb but enjoyable balance of flavor, funk, and acid.

Bottle. A- Apricot, sour. A- Gold color, slightly hazy liquid, white head. T- Apricot, white pepper, tangy, lingering tartness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- My NYE 2023 beer of choice. Loads of sour apricot. Perhaps not as complex as I wanted from SP and I've noticed I enjoy their taps more than bottles, but still great. Oak gives off some tang and the apricot adds a load of fruity tartness. Overall, pretty good.

375ml bottle pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is apricot sour tartness and some oak. Taste is more of the nice sour apricot kick and barrel notes.

Rock-It Bar, Whole Foods, Laguna Niguel. Part of a four beer flight (5 oz pours) on 10th July 2023. Blend #3 apparently, it's a 'sour puss' for sure. Slight misty body, golden in colour, wispy white head. Tart feel, apricots to the fore but they are unable or unwilling to power passed the sourness from what ever else has been added by the wild yeasts and barrel aging. Not my thing at all, but glad I found such a beer in a Californian supermarket bar!
Funk at angry chair? The day is here! Solid super funk crisp apricot

Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza, 2017 - London. Pours unclear orange-gold with a foamy, white head. Hugely acidic, very dry, ample lemony bite, light funk. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Strongly acidic finish, a little apricot. Too acidic overall. Alright.
