Who says a craft brewery can’t make a rock solid pilsner to hang your hat on after a long day on the job? We at Amundsen believe all beer styles are as good as the craftsmen behind them. In our craft pilsner you will find, malty graininess that gives way to sticky, piney, hop honey. Just begging to be drunk by the mug full. Run to the pils pairs best with air guitar and teased hair.

HOPS: Sladek, Mandarina Bavaria

Golden with a white head - Malt body with some hops as well - Malt body with some hop bitterness to balance with some hints of citrus - The malt with hints of hop bitterness goes into the finish - This was ok

33cl can from Pastures Discount Foods. Thick creamy white head. Very hazy golden pour. Light bitterness.

Can shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 30.07.18. Translucent, very pale straw yellow. White head. Decent aroma and taste of meadows, lime and pilsner malt. Citrus bitterness in aftertaste

0,33 boks fra HelgøMeny, delt med skibsrederen kvelden før vi kaster loss for Fjordsteam: lett uklar strågylden med ok skum. Behagelig aroma og smak med pilsnermalt, milde urter, diskret citrus og en liten furunål. Fin bitterhed gjør at den sklir sorgløst over ganen.

33cl can from K-Supermarket Kamppi, Helsinki. Pours hazy straw coloured with a white head. Fruity and grassy aroma with herbal notes, malt and light citrus. Moderate with medium flavour intensity and a nice bitterness. Refreshing and sessionable.

Aroma is heavy-ish and grainy with some mild fruit candy tones. Flavour has grassy hops, some grainy sweetness, herbal notes and minerals. A pils a bit on the sweet side. Nice and crisp.

330ml can from Prisma. BBE 14.08.18. Smooth, slightly citrusy and crisp grassy bitter pils with hints of herbal hops and hay. Okay.
