Sweet sickly cherry based drink with apparently some beer in here, but hard to detect.

* Old rating, 0,5l crown-top bottle, best before 17.05.07. Süßlich-klebriges Bier. Deutlich zu süße und Chemische Kirsch-Limo. Malzig-herb-süß im Nachgeschmack. Wenn dann nur eiskalt...

Bottle from a markt in Kastanienallee in Berlin. Pours very dark copper with a slight head. Cherry aroma, but not seemingly sour. Med body or nearly. It’s much more sweetish cherry than schwarzbier. A little dark malt finally appears. Better than many oversugared cherry fruit beers, but it’s too sweet for me to enjoy.

At a tasting, many thanks Tom, smallish head, clear brown colour, aroma of artificial cherry syrup, artificial cherry dominates the flavour, with a touch of spiciness, no bitterness, almost no body. Foul and not really a beer.

Bottle on the train back to Copenhagen after Fastelavn Smagning 2014, 02/03/14. Thanks to Jan (Fonefan) for this extra. Dark chestnut brown with a moderate beige covering. Nose is sweet cherry, chocolate notes, sweet sugary sugardoms. Taste comprises chocolate dipped cherries, very sweet. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sweet licks in the close. Sweet sweet sweet meets Meh-ish! Big shout to Yespr for helping me out with this one!
