Beluga is a bold, roasted Russian Imperial Stout. Complex and luxurious, we get the requisite chocolate and coffee flavours, but enriched with subtle hints of leather and dried fruits. Take your time to savour this beer, as it needs rumination, and just might provoke deeper contemplation.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Kulenborgse Bierhandel.
Black with a beige head. Roasted malts and hops aroma. Sweet taste with a medium bitter finish. Although it's an imperial stout of 10,5 % ABV it never looses its hoppiness and its lively character. Exceptional imperial stout.

Bottle. Color: Black, beige head. I've had three different BA versions of this beer, but never tried the base beer before. Aroma: Roasted malt, mocha, coffee, milk chcolate hints. Taste: Dark roasted malt with notes of mocha, coffee and some licorice, milk chocolate and vanilla. Over moderate to medium sweetness and bitterness. Bittery finish. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden. Long lasting bitter and roasted finish. Classic Imperial Stout. Nice.

Slow building foam to small dark-tan head over ink-black beer. I Haagse Hopjes /I, liquorice, syrup, very sweetened coffee and very restrained roast. Liquorice, coffe, leather, sweet and all the same more roast than the nose suggested. Vanilla in the background. Very chewy, full bodied, decent carbonation. Quite decent stour, if too sweet by half for my liking. Sweet Beluga for chrissakes! Thanks to Stef!
