BrewDog Pale ale is a classic west coast pale ale, paying tribute to the beers like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale which inspired us to start up our brewery, albeit at a slightly more sessionable ABV. BrewDog Pale Ale focusses on a very heavy hop dosing in the whirlpool which gives a slightly different hop impact than a heavily dry-hopped beer with the hop character slightly more subtle on the nose but deeper intertwined into the light and malty backbone of the new beer.

Right. Clear, dark golden color and a nice white head. Clean, decent fruityness and well balanced hoppy bitterness. Rather long finish

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is floral, grassy and mild catpissy and fruity tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild grassy and dry wooden tones to it. Nice lingering bitterness in the finish.

Bottle from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Blackley. Clear golden-blonde with a thinnish head. Clean tasting lightly citric hoppy ale. There's some but not a huge amount of bitterness to this one.

Nice clear gold body and good foam. Soft sweet hop aroma, honey, slight cracker. Taste is mellow grain, finishing tinny and watery. They had me in the first half, not gonna lie, but this doesn't finish well.

Golden colour with lasting head. It is a clean and crisp pale ale with a little citrus pith bitterness. Good session beer.
