440ml can from the brewpub. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a short-lived fizzy white head. The aroma is light buttery yeast, tropical citrus, lemon, mangoes. The flavour is light sour, with a fresh, crisp, yeasty, juicy citrus, dry, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not your typical saison, but this is the one that I prefer.

Bottle @ the brewery. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are hops, fruits, grass, straw and malt. Nice bitter finish.

Bottle @ Burning Soul, Birmingham. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, lemon, yeasty and light spicy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 270717

Bottle at home, picked up from the brewery, 27/05/17. Hazed golden orange with a well appointed off white head of bubbles. Nose is pissy apricot, lemon rind, straw, toasted grains, light yeast notes, faint spice. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, sharp citric peel, saison yeast, light white peppery spice, grassy, light herbal notes. Medium bodied, fine to spritzy carbonation, crisp drying close. Decent saison ... crisp and refreshing.

Cask at the Wellington, Brum at 4.8%. Pours hazy gold with a small head. Aroma is lightly sour lemon. Taste has light straw to start. Light sour wheat and lemon finish.

Keg at the brewery; clear golden amber pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has hint of clove and lemon zest, taste has yeast action, spice and lemon.
