At the brauhaus, Ravensburg, 07/02/15. Lightly murked up chestnut brown with a decent off white covering. Nose is toffe, malts, banana, clove, light yeast notes. Taste comprises toffee, brown bread, raisens, brown sugar, dark malt, yeast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

Buddel(Danke, Stefan!):Chestnut-amber coloured, lots of clumps visible, stable off-white head, slightly caramelly and toasty nose with a sourish-wheaty background; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour with a light tartness underneath, quite soft nevertheless; some chocolatey-bitter traces in the fruity-caramelly finish. Quite OK …

(bottle) Cloudy, chestnut-brown coloured hue with ugly floaties and a big and beige foamy head. Yeasty, slightly dusty aroma with notes of wheat- and caramel-malt with nutty notes, traces of banana and a present clovy touch. Slightly sweet and delicately tart flavour, rather light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim wheaty taste with shy hints of cara-malt, banana and discreetly nutty accents; slightly sweet and delicately fruity finish. Nothing special. 12.II.14
