Als eerbetoon aan de grootste volkszanger ooit brouwt de Amsterdamse brouwerij de Zij Gelooft in Mijbok. Een fris lentebier met 5,7% alcohol. “Hij is lekker fris en doordrinker, precies waar André van hield”, aldus de brouwers.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is malt with sweetish ripe fruits, including ripe apricot and marmalade. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Pretty decent, if rather forgettable.

On tap at De Prael Proeflokaal Amsterdam. Hazy dark golden coloured, small white head, light fruity nose. Moderate malty, caramel, fruity, slightly acidic apricot and notes of sugar with hint of alcohol in the finish. Drinkable.

33cl on draft at the Prael The Hague. Thin creamy white head. Cloudy amber pour. Quite nice.

Hazy pale amber colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, apricot, candy sugar. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, fruity, toffee. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, light spicy notes, bit metallic, burnt sugar, decent spring bock.

330ml Bottle - Amber with a small head. Bread, honey and hints of marmalade in the aroma. Malty and slightly sweet taste with honey, dried apricot, white bread and marmalade. Enjoyable and easy to drink.
