Panda thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, tidy darkish tan head. Earthy coffee snout. Smooth palate, mildly dry, good superfine minerally carbonation. Smooth dark malts add a pleasant and slightly sweet dark chocolate undertone to smooth and rich coffee, some earthyness carrying over from the nose. Creamy dark malt notes, nice Cappuccino and some candy nut things going on on the light finish. Super duper. Does what it says on the tim and does it with aplomb. Could drink a lot of this, which for an 8% dark beer, is it's own compliment.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Had their CDA prior to this. It’s great to see Red Willow knocking about in Sheffield. Quality brewer. Anyhoo. This is touching on black in the glass. Slim ring of tight, tan head. Nose has milk chocolate truffle. Sweet vine fruit. Touch of ground coffee bean. Taste is mostly sweet, with a decent hit of vinous, roast malt bitterness. Smooth and airy mouthfeel. Drinks well easy. Fine carbonation. Slightly tart bitterness to finish. Great beer.
