Draft. Hazy, golden body. Short, white head, mostly diminishing. Ginger pervades the aroma and taste, but there are notes of toasted grain, lemon grass, flowers and a hint of honey. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. At first, I thought the ginger was too dominant and that I’d be tired of it halfway through the pint. Not so. There was enough carbonation to keep the ginger from building up on the tongue. The beer stayed clean throughout and my opinion of it didn’t change the second time I had it. Very nice.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a clear yellow-gold color with a thin and foamy white head that has pretty good retention. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of ginger and malt. Light body with flavors of ginger and other sweet spices, toasted malt and citrus. The finish is reminiscent of ginger ale. Average and kind of weird beer overall.

tap at Mountain Sun - Pours hazy gold with a white head. The aroma is ginger and malt. The flavor is all about the ginger. It includes lightly sweet malt, but the ginger clearly leads. It works pretty well though.

Tap @ brewpub. Hazy golden color, short head. Aroma of ginger, some hop. Ginger taste. Good balance, but please ’NO mon ginger’. I just dont like the stuff put too much in my beer.

A hazy light yellow beer with a disappearing head. The aroma contains loads of ginger and the flavor is sweet with lots of ginger besides plain malty notes.
