A sorta dry, crisp, refreshing, not quite pale ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue with subtle notes of fruit and a floral hop bitterness.

Not quite sure what to make of this yeasty, malty concoction. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma is rather subtle, with English yeast, light fruitiness, and some bready malt. Flavour is very fruity, with notes of apple and pear upfront, followed by yeast and some dry but sweet finishing notes. Very low complexity. Not very interesting stuff.

Dark orange / brown. Nose is spicy, herbal and fruity. Taste is peppery with a bit of apricot and pear-like taste. dry finish but a bit too sweet.

Bottled 355ml. -at some restaurant in Recife. Clear golden coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, ,ild perfumy fruity nose. Sweet malty, fruity hoppy and light caramel with mild bitterish finish. Also some light peachy notes. So-so, expected better.

1 pint 6 fl oz bottle. Dark golden, nearly amber in the glass, light unclear, small head. Dull apricot on the nose. Starts little bit dry fruity with low bitterness. Black tea and malt in the background. Not bad at the 86° F we have now and better than every iced soft drink. But nothin´ more.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a caramel brown colored body, decent off white head dissipated very quickly, no lacing.
The smell had apricot and malts.
The taste was extremely sweet through fruits and malts, noted alcohol.
The palate sat about a light to medium, semi-sessionable, alcohol felt, bland and watery aftertaste and finish.
Overall, its decent for the style, I think Magic Hat did what they wanted. This is their flagship beer, but for me, probably won’t come back to, honestly not that thrilled.

12oz bottle from Drum Hill Liquors, Chelmsford, MA. Dark amber with a ring of cream head; aroma is vegetable rather than fruit; as is the taste; and the finish is cloying after a brief spritzy fizz. Whatever the secret is, I don’t really want to know.

On tap. Pours a clear copper with no head. Light aromas of fruity malts. Flavors of a malt liquor. Not impressed. Slightly above an industrial brew.
