Tap at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell - 29/11/12. Pours a hazed mid amber wih a thin off white head. Nose is bitter hops, caramel malt, toffee, light whiff of chlorene, pine, burnt tones. Taste comprises soured and bitter grapefruit, sweet caramelised sugars, light dungyness, touch of booze. Fuller end of medium bodied with a little too much spritz in the carbonation for my liking. Drinkable a strange mix of sweet and sour, but not really my bag!

Hazy orange beer, tiny white head. Creamy orange nose. Light dry palate. Fresh orange and a little mango. Strong aniseed alcohol. A little cream. Overall a pleasant orange - cream IPA but the alcohol is quite obvious. Dry finish.

Bottle - Huge pine hop aroma with malts peeking through. Muddy orange with a thick rich head. Starts sweet and goes straight into a hop bitterness and then ends sweet again. Piney, orange pith with malts and the slightest alcohol tinge at the end. Oily and thick on the palate. Pretty good but nothing exceptional.

Location: 11.2 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/12/12
Aroma: The nose is heavy sweet malts, with some caramel, toast, orange, and grapefruit
Appearance: It pours a murky looking orange color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is heavy sweet, malts overpower the more subtle citrusy hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium-full, it has a stickiness to it, a soft carbonation, and a mildly dry finish
Overall Impression: Decent overall, but it drank more like a hoppy Barley wine then a IIPA. The malt proportion is a little high, compared to the hops. This is another one that I can't vouch for the age of, maybe Buy is to blame for the hops being subdued, or maybe that is what the beer is like fresh, I can't know for sure unless I have it again. If it were a Barley Wine, I probably would have given the overall a higher score.

Bottled. Deep, cloudy orange, with lace. Big citrus and tropical fruit nose. Flavor of apricot hops, citrus sour hops, bit and nasty tang, menthol, pepper, peaches. Wild stuff. Very over the top on the hops. Not very drinkable at all, but fun.

33cl bottle from Denmark. Pours hazy orange with a nice white head. Hoppy aroma with pine, fruits, citrus and malt with some spices. Slightly fruity and quite bitter. Full body and medium carbonation. Finish is bitter and hoppy with pine, fruit and citrus. Hoppy and bitter aftertaste. Quite well balanced IIPA, easy to drink and very refreshing.

A - Hazey light gold no head
S - Citra and Columbus. Amarillo. Dry hopped. Woody
T - Wow. Intense dry hopping. Insanely hoppy over 100 IBUs.
M - 80% carbonation. Heavy. Dry hop finish
O - Hop head? Get this. But it lacks any balance. 79/100. Pretty bad overall and certainly couldn’t have more than a glass of this.
