Hazy red amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, grass, honey and alcohol. Sweet malty flavour with heavy citrus/pine hops and a good bitter finish. Warming alcohol.

330ml bottle from Oslo Aiprort, picked that up in early November. Pours dark amber with some beige foam on top. Not really clear. Nose has thick hop marmalade, dried plums that ave been dipped into hop resins. Tastes thick, hoppy and heavy malt base. Blast from the past, old style DIPA, edging to barleywine territory. Resiny oily bitterness lingering also in the aftertaste. Good at what it is, stocky, old-fashioned and brewed with a bucketful of hops. Winter IPA.

Bottle. The colour is dark copper with a light beige head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, ammonia and caramel. Flavour of pine, grass, caramel and some ammonia. Has a slick mouth feel, full-bodied and a medium bitterness. Tasteful, hoppy and well-balanced.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber-ish, brown colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, malty and citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of orange, candied orange zest, orange liqueur, orange cake, stollen, sponge cake, hints of almond. Taste is sweet malty and citrusy hoppy, notes of orange liqueur, candied orange zest, stollen, sponge cake; slightly warming, alcoholic finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, very fine, soft carbonation.

Bottle at home from Oslo airport, 4th October 18. Pours a copper colour. Aroma is pine, resin, bitter marmalade. Taste is resinous, sweet, citrus, with a fabulous biting bitter backbone that Balances this beast. Lovely well hopped DIPA, love the bitterness and pithy syrup.

Bottle picked up from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham and consumed Mini Camping Polderflora, Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands, Friday 21st September 2018. Pours a reddy amber colour with a white or maybe off white head. Quite a substantial mouthfeel, a touch syrupy, lots of resinous flavours here and despite sweetness it's got a persistent bitterness. Marmalade and pine resin are the key standouts for me. Lovely beer. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0

33cl bottle from Heinemann, OSL Airport. Slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Hoppy aroma with caramel, ripe or dried yellow fruits, pine and hints of citrus and tropical fruits. Sweet and hoppy with fairly well integrated alcohol and a rather balanced bitterness. A bit too much on the sweet side, but certainly decent.
