Our interpretation of the Speciale Belge type. A little sweetness and nice caramel notes. By not filtering and pasteurizing the beer, all subtle flavors remain in the beer. 5.5% alc

On tap @ Fort Everdingen.
Clear amber with an off-white head. Caramel aroma with some light citrus and other fruit. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. A bit too sweet perhaps but still pleasant.

Tap @ Fort in Everdingen. Almost clear light amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of some caramel, slight spicy yeast and a hint of mashed apples (which fades away quickly). Slight sweet in taste, bit spicy. Easy going amber. Probably to please the tourists, they wanted to make some lower ABV beers. --- Beer merged from original tick of Duits & Lauret Amber on 30 Jun 2018 at 12:47 - Score: 6. Original review text: Licht kruidig, beetje karamel. Lichte belgische amber. Eenvoudig, maar prima.
