Clear. black body under a small, brown head. Strong, almost intense in aroma. Roasted malt, dry fruit, chocolate, vanilla, wood, and vinous alcohol. Taste is similar to aroma, strong and bold, still super smooth. Full bodied and never-ending aftertaste. Impressive how a beer of this alcohol strength manages to feel smooth and balanced. It is several elements here that is found in port wine or Amarone, but the Quadruple part is definitive. Really close to perfection.

Very little beige head, almost flat, very dark brown. Nose has red wine and some baked fruits. Sweet, starts with red wine, raisins, toffee. Finishes with some booze, licorice, jammy dark berries. Smooth, strong, complex. Excellent.

Bottle, 330 ml, shared with Max, Miro and Zubo. Dark brown to black with beige head. Chocolate, caramel, fruity, some smooth red wine, super smooth. Sweet, tad tart, bitterish finish. Somewhat juicy even. Medium bodied. Incredible for abv.

Almost black with lasting thin head. Aroma has elements of port and sherry with the red fruit sweetness and dried fruits too. Jammy. Boozy. Sticky sweet. Warming. Thick and oily.

Pours viscously to reddish-shot black beer, with a tan-cream head. Nutty, cognac, Bourbon, sweet. X-mas cake, and, indeed, vinous aromas. Sweet, fortified wine, portwine, orangerind, strawberry liqueur, again X-mas cake associations with brandy and nuts accompanied with a glass of Port. Fusels. Ultra well-bodied, despite all the alcoholburn/thinning/force. Utterly viscous, fiery MF. Impressive beer, just that. Even the serious sweetness seems right.
