Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of hazelnut, chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Pours clear almost black color with thin creamy brown head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet chocolate, nuts and roasted malt, following is earthy, woody and dried fruity with whiskey note, mouthfeel is warm and mild spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Liquid Ferrero Rocher with abundant hazelnuts...

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with slightly late awakening, small, creamy, fading, minimally lacing, tan head. Dictatorial hazelnut aroma, hints of nougat, a vanilla touch, widely suppressed, inferior, chocolately, dark malty background. Taste is quite weird, notes of artificial hazelnut aroma, some vanilla, burnt hazelnut. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, tacky palate, fine and soft carbonation. The hazelnut aroma works very well in the nose but doesn't know where to place its power in taste - pretty much an overdose; maybe the decimal place slipped one position to the right.

Bottle shared by Joen. Opaque black color, brown quickly diminishing head. Aroma is huge hazelnut, artificial and it really reminds me of cheap, fake imitating "Nutella". In the flavor too this particular hazelnut flavor is way way way too dominating and this combined with the sweetness (due to artificial additives?) make it way over the top and not very pleasant nor drinkable. However, when we paired it with a De Molen Hel & Verdoemenis, the flavor was quite alright although the aroma and aftertaste still were dominated by the hazelnut artificial notes. All in all quite a disappointment.
