Der handgepflückte Naturhopfen aus unserem Hopfengarten im Dreisamtal wird direkt nach der Ernte in der Sudpfanne verarbeitet, auch Grünhopfung genannt. Dieser Sud wird anschließend mit der Maische, die aus klarem Schwarzwaldwasser und Malz aus der Region besteht, zu einem echten Braukunstwerk vollendet.
Eine Spezialität für Kenner und Liebhaber herber Biere. In diesem Sinne: Bitterschön!

Bottle shared with HP. Smooth grainy beginning. Easy to drink, very smooth with herbal parts. Grainy, herbal earthy, very smooth with not much bitterness. Dry and sessionable. Nice floral earthy.

Pours a bright light gold with a super tight white head, persistent with micro bubbles. Scents of hops and malt distinctly pilsner aromas. Taste is classic pils with a hoppy foundation and a crisp finish.

330ml bottle [courtesy of Bartlebier - thanks a lot!]. Crystal clear, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Bready malty and minimally musty, wet strawy aroma, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is crisp, bitter, grassy hoppy, minimally metallic, pale malty basis; lingering bitter hoppy finish. I liked the 45-version a bit more.

330ml bottle [Thanks to bartlebier for this local rarity!]. Minimally milky, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally grainy and strawy, malty and grassy hoppy aroma with a waxy touch, hints of flax. Taste is minimally grainy, sweet-ish malty, slightly doughy yeasty, and grassy hoppy, hints of fresh grass. Not the best "Grünhopfenpils", but with recognizable freshness.
