Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours clear amber with a few off-white bubbles. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, alcohol and some fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, caramel, fruity, berry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Dark copper color, no head. Sweet aroma of malt, sugar and raisin. Taste is sweet, really sweet. Moslty malt and fruit, with a boozy warmth. Onedimensional and boring.

Bottled, 2013 version at 13%, BB May 2015, large sample. A gusher, what a surprise from Klein Duimpje, not. Hazy orange to amber color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of appelmoes (sweet apple), some caramel malt, hint of raisin, bit spicy yeast, some alcohol. Initial taste is a bit sweet and a bit bitter, then loads of alcohol and iron wash every subtlety away. Quite high on carbonation. Basically, this just sucks big time.

Bottled. Hazy deep orange/pale brown colour with a mediumsized white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is toffee, some sweet fruits and mild alcoholic notes. Flavour is tropical fruits along with some bitterness and mild sweet malts and alcohol. Very simplistic as such, and the fruitiness really surprised me in a positive way. More like a Belgian Strong Ale than Quadrupel though...

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head, lots of broken lace and low carbonation. The aroma is strong yeast, citrus fruit and big alcohol. The flavour is medium bitter which is rather surprising considering the ABV, with a thin bodied watery medicinal palate and a weak thin short bitter finish.Earlier Rating: 12/4/2012 Total Score: 2.8Bottle at a Ratebeer "sticky floor" tasting, Den Haag. Poured an orange reddish colour with a round white head and no lace. The aroma is fruity grapefruit and malt. The taste is bitter alcoholic and yeasty. A decent beer but highly carbonated.

Bottle shared at Deans sticky floor tasting. Pours amber with no head. Aroma is nasty caramel vegetables. Flavour is bad, super sweet. Best just adding to the sticky floor.

33 cl bottle. Gusher. Brown color with huge beige head. Aroma’s of sweet fruit (raisin, apricot), malt & alcohol. Sweet ’n’ fruity flavor. Rather full body, alcohol is quite well hidden, drinks pretty easily. Quite nice.
