Draught @ Nederlands Biercafe t Arendsnest, Herengracht 90, Amsterdam, Netherlands 1015 BS.Unclear hazy medium red orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, overriped orange, moderate yeasty, overriped fruit, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, overriped fruity, yeasty, alcoholic - peppery finish, spicy star anis - licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100925]

[9/25/10] Draught at t’ Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Murky brown. Aroma of yeast, fruits, some brett/wood and light spiciness. Sweet flavor of fruits, yeast, some woody notes and a bitter and slightly tart finish. Medium-bodied.

On tap at ’t Arendsnest. Hazy amber colour, thin off white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, malts, esters, some alcohol, bit of wood. Flavour is sweet, light spicy, yeasty, fruity, roosvicee, wood and alcohol bitter finish. Medium to fullbodied, soft mouthfeel. Highly drinkable for an 11.5% beer.
