Timing. Kruidig bruistablet. Pepernoten. Wel lekker.
22.08.22 Mmmm love me some bernardus. Soapy sweetness. Brown sugary banana yeastiness.

75 cl bottle (2018) enjoyed with the family at an appropriate time of the year. Deep brown colour, slightly hazy. Light beige head with good retention and lacing. Aroma's: sweetish,caramel, yeasty. Retronasal: sweetish, alcohol, caramel, red fruit. Flavour: moderate sweet, alcohol. Fairly strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Moderate bitter finish. Less sweet than I expected. Solid/classic Belgian strong ale.
