On 1st November 2015, Best Bitter was renamed Ringwood Razorback, to make it appeal to younger drinkers who don’t gravitate towards “bitters” by name; with the recipe and technique remaining unchanged. The name is a homage to the brewery symbol, the boar. Razorback is an American and Australian term for a wild boar.

Puh, in der Nase echt plädderich, optisch dafür recht hübsch. Gottseidank nur wenig Prozent, somit sogar erträglich. Somit halt sehr künstliches Karamell, schlimmer Abgang zuweilen.

Bottle from the local Lidl. Light brown with a creamy head. Aroma of roasted grains. Taste is bittersweet most of the way through, mildly bitter at the end. Light bodied, watery texture. Clean and drinkable but absolutely nothing going on.

0,5 l bottle from Lidl, Germany. Clear dark copper in the glass, more than one finger pale beige head. Mid malty smell, some citrus tea. Taste starts watery, low malty, more citrus and tea. Some candy in the second row. Getting a little bit dry. Can not convince.

Bottle via Lidl, SK. Quite dull and boring. Thin body, watery character. Barely moderate carbonation. Plain malty beer, but even the maltiness is light, rather providing caramelly brownish colour than flavour. Subtle caramelly notes fight for dominance with rusty metal.

Bottle. Amber color with huge off-white head. Lot of caramel, malt in aroma. Taste, caramel, burned sugar, harsh bitterness. Less caramel would increase drinkability of this beer.

Deep amber with a foamy, short-lasting off white head, aroma is not strong, some caramel or toffee sweetness with a hint of malt. Relatively high level of carbonation gives a tingly mouthfeel, there's some sweet malt character in there and a touch of fruit with some lasting bitterness in the aftertaste
