Impy Tyskie. Clean. No iodine. Really defies the abv. Surprisingly well-made!

Can, from the local shop. A quid. Clear gold. Thin, lasting, white head. Aromas of syrupy grain. Wet paper. Some nuttiness, unexpectedly. Taste is light, syrupy sweet. Glad I had this really cold. Decent enough mouthfeel. Not too sickly. Sticky sweet finish. Ok.

Bottle at the March DC Tasting, provided to us by Travlr, from the local Russian Gourmet in Alexandria. Poured a golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was skunky notes, corn, crisp lager notes. Flavor was also overly skunked, sweet grains. Sadness.

This tastes like park benches in eastern Europe. The wood, the brown paper bag and everything. Bitter taste of communism abandoning me.
