Heftily hopped & aroma packed, Hobgoblin IPA stays true to its ancestral traditions. Brewed with Fuggles, Golding & Styrian hops and then amped up by the addition of some mighty American hops. This collision of Old and New World hops provide an explosion of tropical aroma and a juicy bitterness. Born out of character.

Bottle picked up from Dutties, Streatham high road and drunk at home (03/12/2021) - clear gold with a white head. Medium sweet malty and vague citrus fruity, grassy twiggy hops, cereal, grain, biscuity malts, light body, subdued hoppy finish. Pretty basic affair.

Clear copper color with a fine tan head. Ok lacing Looks nice and inviting Pleasant aroma with some bread, caramel and fruity Balanced fine bitterness. Fine duration Average carbonation level. Easy to drink Herbal, fruity, caramel malt, bready and some citric notes in the flavor Solid nice beer [Bottle at Kokkekollektivet in Halden, Norway]

Bottle from Tesco. Pours a clear light copper colour with a medium sized thick foamy white head. Aroma is fruity with tropical, citrus and peachy notes. Taste is the same again with added floral, a touch of mango and a pithy citrus finish. Medium to full body and slightly oily mouthfeel. Not bad at all.

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. good looking with an off-white bubbly head with fine duration, leaving clingy lacing on the glass. Clear golden-brown body. Promising aromas of leafy hops and mild malty sweetness. Nicely mixed taste of earth, caramel malts, and leafy hops followed by resinous bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied, and soft on the swallow. A relief to drink an ipa that wasn't a neipa. Enjoyed at home on a Friday eve. (Tromsø 09.07.2021).
