Cask at Brewery Tap, Chester – my first cask beer for 6 weeks ! Pours a cloudy golden orange with a minimal white head, but good lacing. Oranges and tangerines in the aroma. Texture in the mouth is creamy, and the flavour is mainly tangerines, with bitter hops underpinning them. Finish is more of the same. Quite nice but not overly exciting.

440ml can. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, mineral, stone fruit, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, crisp, juicy citrus, pepper spice, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering dry bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
