0,2l from tap at Birreria Zanon venezia. dark brown colour, small tan head. smells of licorice, spices, . medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of spices, black currant notes, licorice, lightly earthy, some plums, light coffee, light sweetness. finishes lightly sweet with notes of licorice, some spices and light earthy bitterness. decent but also a but weird.

Pint from tap @Irish restaurant/bar in Rome, poured light caramel brown with an off white head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel. Taste is very similar, low carbonation , some bitterness from the malts, syrup, not that great. --- Beer merged from original tick of Poretti Angelo Brown Ale on 15 May 2018 at 16:11 - Score: 5
