Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Comes as "Eindhovens Proatwoater Tripel". Pours a hazy golden with an off-white head. Very fruity - almost perfumy - aroma with some alcohol showing. Very full-bodied, very fruity with loads of sugar. No bitterness. 031009

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy yellow with an off-white head. Sweetish fruity nose. Quite full-bodied, a little low in carbonation with a massive fruitiness. Only discreetly bitter. 040409

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a very cloudy golden with lots of floating impurities lumping together and not finding rest and an off-white head. Slightly unclean and tart aroma. Quite full-bodied, sweet fruits and a whiff of yeast. No actual bitterness. 291108

Bottle at Reading BF 06. Copper with thin white head. Oooh this is a bit different. Some blackcurranty fruit. Nice hop aroma. Quite lively. Good carbonation. Bit of white choc and pineapple too. Good tripel and a real change from all these bitters.

Bottled, July 2003. Cloudy light-brown color, medium white head. Aroma of yeast, caramel, some alcohol, some orange. Quite yeasty and slightly sweet taste, alcohol is noticeable. I describe this beer as very yeasty, but if you take care not to pour the last drops of beer out of the bottle, it’s not that yeasty, and actually reasonably balanced.

A dark amber beer with a fine white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, yeast, and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet malty with notes of yeast, fruit, and alcohol, that dries out the tongue, before a sweetness comes back and lingers. Where is the licorice?
