Clear dark red brown colour, good frothy tan head, good retention and lacing. Aroma sweet malt, bread, fruit syrup, slightly roasted, butterscotch. Taste light sweet, slightly bitter, bit toasted, milky way notes. Medium body, oily texture, lightly toasted mild bitter finish. Nice dunkel.

Bottled (backlog, thanks Kim N!). Dark amber to copper colour with a small off-white fluffy head. Aroma is caramel malts, mild chocolate and a bunch of ripe sweet fruitiness and some mild toast. Flavour is toasted malts, some ripe sweet fruitiness along with some chocolate and mild caramelly and syrupy notes. Bodied, and not overly sweet.

Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Dark brown color with a deep dark red glare coming through when held into the light, full sized tan head that lasts for a decent while. Smell malts, dark malts, leaves. Taste malts, dark malts, leaves, brown sugar, slightly sweet. Average body and soft carbonation. Meh.

0.5l bottle. Dark brown/ruby body, light brown head. Plums, reisins and a hint of roasted malts in the aroma with maybe some caramel. Taste of caramel, dark fruits, minimal roastyness and little bit of floral hops. More like a dunkel for me than a schwarzbier, but I like it.

50cl bottle in Zagreb. Pours dark brown with a reddish hue and an off-white head. Aroma of dark fruits, toasted malt and hints of caramel and raisins. Sweet and fruity with a light bitterness. Ok, but a bit too much on the sweet side for my taste. (2013-05-19)
