Draught at Trawl Boat Inn, JDW, Lytham St Annes. Bright orangey gold colour, some bubbles on top and aroma of woody apple. Taste is sweetish, tangy apple, some core and tannin with sulphury hints. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tangy finish. Quite OK --- Beer merged from original tick of Black Dragon Welsh Cider (Bottle) on 09 Nov 2013 at 14:01 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Original review text: 500ml bottle. Golden amber colour, foam white head that diminishes and aroma of apple skin, woody oak. Sweetish fruity apple flavour well balanced with a dry tartish edge and oaky notes. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, clean dry finish. Very drinkable cider.

Bag in bottle at PoW, Farnborough. Pithy but sweet apple aroma. Copper gold. No head. Sweet with an underlying sourness that then gains in prominence. The sweetness returns for the finish. Light bodied but slick. Flat carbonation. Dry finish. Decent enough for a cider.

Flavour is composed of semi sweet, apple, light tangy, apple, plastic,. Bit of a weird one. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, tangy. Ok.
