Cask sample@Simon The Tanner, London (28/08/2016) - pours gold with a white head. Aroma and taste is prominent sweet apple, appleskin, apple infused wooden oaky nuances in the finish. Nice!

Golden orange color with white head that goes down quickly. Aroma is semi-sweet green apples, vanilla, some oak and some funk. Taste is so much apples, rather sweet, but oak flavours including tannins bring in a great balance. Towards the end, a phenolic booze feeling kicks in and the finish is quite stingy-spicy (garlic, indeed?) and with a kick. Calm carbonation. A marvelous cider. Impressive how it can feel so full and sweet without really being sweet.

Draught at shrewsbury hotel. Pours copper. Rich caramel aroma. Quite a rich super sweet taste perhaps too much. Rather boozy & syrupy. Not really a pint-worthy cider. --- Beer merged from original tick of Black Dragon Welsh Cider (Bottle) on 02 Apr 2018 at 12:30 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8. Original review text: 500ml bottle. Pours clear gold, good fruity nose. Taste presents a crisp, well-rounded medium dry with a gentle sweetness and fleshy fruit notes. Light carbonation and subtle tannins. Excellent, accessible Medium-Dry.

Tap at the Pump House, Solihull. Poured a clear medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is kinda apple. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth light alcohol apple palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Itβs a cider. They all taste the same donβt they??

Dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of ripe apple with wooden and funky notes. Dry, and slightly tart fresh apple flavour with a hint of sulphur, and a little tannin bite in the finish

Cask @ Bankers Draft (JDW), Bedford. Light copper, completely clear and still. Aroma of apples, icing sugar and pear drops. The initial blast of sweetness in the taste gives way to a tart apple-skin finish. A very good cider indeed, but is missing the complexity of some less commercial recipes.

Bladder bag/box at The Full House, Hemel, 04/06/14. Pale golden blonde with moderate off white bubbles that clear to edgeing. Nose is pear, spice, figs, custard. Taste comprises pear drops, straw, apple jus, sugars. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sweet orchard linger in the close. Ok cider.
