Aroma of slightly roasty malt, creamy notes, some milk chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet with a creamy light roasty finish. Not bad, but not very noticeable either. Still, it’s good to see another microbrewery emerge in the northern part of the country.

Smooth mild sweetish roasted grain. Deep malty, easy to drink with a nice sweet roasted malty finish. Not much bitterness, round and malty.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast and caramel in the aroma and flavor. Malty sweetish with licorice, ash. Surprisingly pleasant.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Hotel Room tasting ] - DSG room, Woerden, Netherlands. [ As Groninger Sweet Stout ].Unclear medium to dark brown amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, sweet malt, fruity malt, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, swet malt, caramel, chocolate note, nutty notes. [9/23/16] Bottle sample at hotel room tasting in Woerden. Thanks everyone for sharing! Brown with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, toast, a bit of chocolate. Sweetish flavor, yeasty, with a tart note, caramel, toast, a bit of nuts. Medium-bodied.

Bottle shared at hotelroom tasting after Borefts Beer Festival Day 1. Brown color, average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, dusty, a bit old and oxidised. Taste malts, earthy, dusty, moderately bitter. Decent body and carbonation.
