Aroma of malt, big smoke, light fruits, hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate to medium bitter finish. Nice Smoked beer and quite easily drinkable.

Bottle. Orange color. Birchwood and smoked cheese in the aroma. Initial malty sweetness. Notes of orange. Strong birchwood flavor kicking in and lingering on in the long aftertaste. Thinnish, but very tasty.

Draft: Clear, amber, with a small, off-white head. Fruity, wood smoke aroma. Taste is light ham/back-bacon, fruit, grain. Very nice.....wonderfully smoked for such a light beer. Just right.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball. Smoked ham and malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Candied ham and barley malt flavor. Light herbal finish. Excellent.
