29/11 0.70 l bottle @Sidreria Asturias, Oviedo. It poured hazy yellow body with medium sized head. Quite weak, tart apple aroma. Flavor was sour, but not as usual, somewhat sweet fruity towards the end. Clean, without notes of yeast or cork, medium bodied with long, tart apple finish. I’d prefer more straightforward sourness, although people who are not used to or don’t like very sour things might find this a good gate to Spanish natural cider style. A pleasant example anyhow.

Cobweb, musty basement, apple, and pear aroma. Earthy soil notes as well. Clear yellow, no visible carbonation. Tart, abundant funk and mustiness. Persimmon and apple. Carbonation is soft. Not in the least medicinal, nor does it seem infected. Finishes with a meaty smokiness, reminiscent of bacon. Lovely transitions and wild character. One of the best ciders I’ve had the pleasure of drinking.

Bottle @ home picked at Mile High Wine and Spirits and recommended by Andre. A touch hazy, lemonade yellow appearance with no head and little to no carbonation. White wine, dry, rich apple, somewhat bitter, a touch spicy aroma. Fairly easy drinking, sweet apple, dry, somewhat tangy, a touch tart, lightly vinous flavor with a dry finish. Pretty tasty cider.
