Dark Side is an impressive and seriously smooth stout, brewed with flair and diligence using a blend of dark roasted malts and an old-fashioned (and rather famous) English hop called Fuggles. Dark Side contains wheat and barley malt.

Bottle. Nose is dark fruits, black current, little licorice. Taste is dark fruit, licorice, hint of coffee. Mouthfeel is too thin. I think one of the better supermarket beers that benefits for being served at a warmer cellar temperature

Appearance- very dark brown, ruby tinged base, a small, beige, fizzy head. Aroma- chocolate, malts, bread, coffee hints, fudge. Taste- bitter, toasty coffee, slightly nutty, chocolate undertones, hints of caramel and honey sweetness, nice smooth and fluffy mouthfeel. Gets more roasty/toasty as it warms. Good overall.

Black in glass, medium head. Mainly coffee and chocolate in aroma. Some roastiness. Quite high carbonation, foamy in mouth. Light bitterness, medium sweetness. Body too light for a stout imo.
