Dark, almost black color, good creamy beige head. Chocolaty, a bit coffeish aroma. Medium-bodied. Slightly ashy, licorice, coffee. Quite dry and even hoppy dry stout. More substance than in pasteurized bottle.

Bottle. Pours opaque black with foamy, rocky offwhite head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee beans and dried dark fruits. Taste is initial light sweet then medium to heavy bitter. Body is medium oily and rich with good carbonation. Finish is long and sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, gravy, prunes and rye bread.

500ml bottle from Tesco - Nice black body, thin tan head. Usual stout nose of roastiness and coffee, malt and a touch of chocolate. A little thin, decent enough though.

500ml bottle - a real froth monster this one, bursting out of the bottle, a tan head that took ages to settle. When it did, it levelled with a thick tan head on top of a nice black body. A little bit of stouty smokiness, but that is it. An okay stout.

Full bodied almost black stout with a small off white frothy head. Not the most flavoursome despite a healthy roasted aroma.

Bottle from Tesco. Poured a deep mahogany colour with a thin off-white head. The aroma is dry roasted malt leading to a medium bitter flavour with lots of liqourice bitterness, roaasted malt and dark chocolate on the smooth palate. The consistency is a little watery, but itโ€™s a flavour packed and very refreshing stout for sure. Drink slowly and enjoy!

Bottle from Brewdog Slovensko. Aroma is nice roasted, coffee, chocolate, toffee. Reasonably sized beige head, almost medium duration. Colour is clear and very dark ruby-brown, not close to black though. Taste is roasted, coffee, hints of burnt. I miss some sweet malty balance, it seems plainly bitter. Not bad, but a bit unbalanced from my view. Minus point for that. Also light hint of sourness appears late in the finish. Otherwise good.

Bottle at home. Pours a black colour with a light beige medium head. Nice roasted aroma with nuts, leather, dark berries, cocoa and dark chocolate. Much of the same in the flavour but is sweeter with hints of lactose and less roasted than expected. Has a silky and light mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A well-balanced and easy-drinking stout.

12.05.2013, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Nice longlasting head. Aroma is slightly roasted and sweet, dark malts, unripe banana, coffee, cocoa, grass, some hops and cardboard. Taste is roasted dark malts, sour coffee, cardboard, wood, cocoa, grass, unripe banana, hay, dark sugar. Stoft (too soft) carbonation, medium bitterness. Easy drinking, but not a favorite.
