Clear caramel colour, white head. Aroma of malts, toast, light biscuit, hint of red fruits. Light bitter, malty flavour, light sweet. Light bitter finish, dark red fruits, malts, toast. Nice!

Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 10 June. Very dark pour and coffee and ripe fruit aromas. Very nice, full bodied mouth feel, but easy drinking. Sweetness balanced by some light dark chocolate bitterness. Quite quaffable.

Cask at Sir Michael balcon, Ealing. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Woody/roasted notes. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. fantastic brew.

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise, London. Pours clear, light brown with a weak, white bubble head. Dark malt aroma, some fruitcake and mocha. Medium sweet flavor, dark malts, ripe fruits, light toffee, toasty sugars, vanilla frosting. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Sweet, lightly sticky finish, subtle cocoa, dark fruits, vanilla, toast, faint earth and wood. A pretty interesting and ballsy mild.

(Cask at Harp, Covent Garden, London, 25 Nov 2011) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, roasted nuts, dark bread and prunes. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, dark bread and a bitter-sweet finish. Medium body with a touch of sweetness. Quite tasty mild. Nice one.

Cask @ Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico SW1. Pours a dark ruby brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty nutty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty slightly roasted caramel finish.
