Cask at the Magnet, Stockport. Pours clear amber with beige foam. Aroma: malt, caramel, hedgerow fruits, light nutty. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, malt, hedgerow, some toffee. Medium body with soft carbonation. Bog standard malty best bitter.

10/5/2019. Bottle from the Old Mill Brewery. Pours amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit, sweet bread and slightly nutty. Medium plus sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, average to soft carbonation. Sweet toffee finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and caramel. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 190419

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Caramellic. Oily palate.

Bottle @Højbjerg Tasting. Clear amber, offwhite head. Malty aroma, light notes of honey. Sweetish malty flavour, bitter hops and a hint of honey.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, little bread, toffee and hops. Sweet finish.

Many thanks to Grumbo for this bottle! Nice smooth dry beginning. Full-bodied, hints of hazelnuts, refreshing with a fantastic mild dry malty roasted back. Hazelnuts, very dry, malt. Nice carbonation, smooth and sessionable!
