draft at Settle Inn in Stirling - Pours cloudy yellow and has a nice tart green apple aroma and flavor. It’s smooth, sweet, and rather enjoyable. It’s not fantastic, but it’s better than many of the hard ciders on the market.

Bottle 50 c. Hazy and opaue golden with an off-white head. Odd overripe -almost rotten - fruit accents. Medium body, lightly tart, slightly astringent and yet with a somewhat watery edge. Woody notes - oak? 170110

Cask-conditioned at the Lord Nelson, Topsham, Devon 26/07/09. Cloudy pale brown in colour. Sweetish apple aroma, marred by a whiff of ammonia. Flavour was similar, with some cheesy, stomach bile in the background. Not very nice.

Draft at The Spaniards on the Heath. Fresh, tart apple aroma. Hazy peach juice color with some white head. Near medium in body with medium, firm carbonation. Flavors of apple and appleskin - hardly any "cooked" aspect. Quite refreshing.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Cloudy warm golden colour, some apple on the nose but not a great deal. Like the Westons Hernys Vintage I had before this was very easy drinking and all the more refreshing, quite smooth and yet it still had just enough appley bite to make it most enjoyable. A very nice cider that I could scoff down a few of.

568ml bottle from Sainsbury. I like this straight off cos of the size 568ml. Cloudy gold/orange, no head. Apple pie aroma. Apple juice in mouth and not too sour. Dryish finish. Bit one dimensional, but drinkable.
