This ale poured a dark orange colour with a foamy off white head. To the nose, caramel, bitter floral hop and a hint of ripe fruit. Taste is smooth and a little waterybut full of malty goodness. Slightly hoppy on the finish. Palate is full of caramel. Noy bad.

Bottle. Deep copper colour with a small white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Lots of malt sweetness, bit of fruit.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very goodlooking beer somewhere in between red and amber with a small, creamy head. Very soft and pleasant - pretty much without bitterness. A bit sweet - probably from the added 3% cane sugar. 310803

Bottle: Amber coloured, thin off-white fluffy head, lasting; malty nose with a tinge of bitterness and some fruity notes; light bitter flavour; soapy (or cheesy, caused by rotten hops ?) bitterness in the finish; rather unpleasant and disappointing.....................

Amber, low head. Hint roastyness on the aroma. Slight fruityness - a hint hops. Overall quite watery and boring.

Bottled. Reddish amber. Sweet and fizzy with sharp, short malt profile. Slightly nutty with a drier finsih with low bitterness. Drinking this after a couple of cask ales was like drinking vacuum.

Lightly hopped beer with a malty flavour that removes any extreme bitterness from the beer. Refreshing drink because of this, and yet another bottled beer where the head lasts for ages.
