500ml bottle - Pours a clear amber colour with a small frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, grass, melon and malts. A moderately bitter taste, grassy and resinous hops, toasted malts, pithy bitterness and an oily mouth feel.

500ml bottle. Clear golden amber, small white head. Aroma of sweet bready malts, caramel, and...no hops!? Taste is grapefruit, resin, bready malts, decent bitterness. Light-medium body. It's ok I suppose, typical trad brewer having a go at a modern style and not really getting it, I mean, no hops in the aroma?

Bottle from local Tesco Aroma is a mix of malt and herbs. Pours a golden yellow with a respectable white head. Hoppy bitterness is the first thing that hits in the mouth, though the underlying malty sweetness later takes over. Some marmalade, pines cones and various grains as well. A dry and bitter finish. Calls itself a “west coast IPA” vand it is definitely more of an IPA than an American Pale. Very nice anyway.

Bottle from Tesco, Exmouth. Hoppy aroma with citrus and cereral as well as malt and a note of spice. Moderate to high carbonation and reasonable body. Taste like aroma with occasional tangerine note. Fairly high bitterness. It's ok but could be better.

Bottle from Tesco, Aldershot. Sweet grassy citrus aroma. Gold. Bubbly translucent white head promptly recedes. Medium bitter. A hoppy bite. Fades. Gets grassy. But maintains citrus sourness. Light-medium bodied. Slick if a tad watery. Average-fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Decent if even if it feels all a tad washed out.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a generous fluffy head. Nose - pith and light sweat. Probably going towards grapefruit in terms of specific citrus fruit. Light dishcloth but not too intrusive or giving evidence of any fault. Taste - more grapefruit and pith. Palate - light bodied, creamy texture, dry balanced finish. Overall - decent example of the style.

Can from Tesco. Pours clear pale yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus, light tropical fruit and faint malt. Taste has good pithy bitterness and faint malt sweet at the back. Not bad.

opalescent pale golden colour, moderate sized white head, which collapses quite quickly; aroma and taste of grapefruit, grapeseeds and peel, fruity and biscuity notes; correct one
