Light lime. Can't remember if this is worse than the American shipyard version but it's certainly not great. A little peel. Golden pour with decent head. Light bitter finish. Bottle.

Sigh. Bit of a jetlag panic beer at the Tesco, that was pretty barren. Taste is fairly sweet malt, with a touch of corn syrup. Hops it mostly bittering. It actually balances the sweetness nicely, but bit of a sorry thing for an IPA

A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has generic fruitness, it's slightly over riped. Taste has fruitness, fructose, wood. Medium bodied. Boring.

Opalescent dark golden to orange colour, moderate sized creamy ecru head; aroma and taste of pine resiny, some grassy, grapefruity and biscuity notes; great classical IPA

Bottled 500ml. -from random Coop Torino, shared with Marko & hrabren. Darker golden/amberish coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, caramel and herbs in the nose. The taste is almost the same with notes of fruits and touch of oxidation in the finish.

0.5 l bottle shared with Ogi and Marko, thanks Ogi. Clear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is cardboard, caramel, malts, some ripe fruit, earth and herbs. Flat, bland, mineral, cardboardy, malty, some spice. Light bitterness. Light finish.

Bottle brewed in Wolverhampton or something. Amber body, off-white head. Very caramelly aroma, crystal malt likely, some sweet orange citrus touches, washed out slightly. Lean, soft body ending dry, raisins, trace orange, apricot esters, bit earthy, light herbal finish. I mean, come on, this is a bitter more than any American IPA, likely completely different recipe, only the name and ABV being the same... or I'm worried for the original...

Bottle from Sainsburys. Clear deep golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of biscuit and lemon ice tea. Flavour of steel and caramel. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. Light, hoppy and straightforward.
