# 2812; 3/2022. As Shipyard American IPA, brewed and bottled in the UK by Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Co. Ltd. Wolverhampton. Malty, herbal, earthy and fruity aroma. Brilliant gold body; white head. Earthy, herbal, zesty. More english than american IPA, I guess. 0,5 l, bottle, supermarket, Lincoln (Lincolnshire, England).

Bottle from Asda. Amber-gold with a decent white head. Rather too fizzy. Dry malt and bran flakes up front with a light hint of grapefruit coming through in the finish. Definitely not the American IPA it claims to be; instead it's somewhere between a Tim Taylor's Landlord-style bitter and an English IPA. Pleasant enough though.

Bottle from Morrisons. Pours clear golden with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of citrus fruits, tangerine, peach, caramel and floral. Taste has more notes of citrus, tangerine, peach, caramel and floral with added toasty bread, peppery spice and a big citrus rind bitterness on the finish. Medium to full body with a smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Quite a nice and refreshing thirst quencher.

Slightly hazy pale amber with a frothy white head, and mildly floral and citrus aroma. Light bodied, smooth mouthfeel with a hint of grain, and a dry and bitter flavour profile with a touch of citrus hop bitterness in there
