Keg in G-town Lounge. Copper colours with a tight head, decent lacing. Not as hoppy as I expected, but definitely more interesting than most lagers. Would have again

On tap at Hammersmith Apollo theatre, for a whopping £5.20. Clear golden colour, thin white head. Aroma is very British, much like a fruity Golden Ale, light grainy, malty, fruity, melon, light hoppy. Flavour is light to medium sweet, malty, hint of toast, melon, hint of pineapple, ok bitter finish. Light bodied. More a golden ale to me.

On tap at Mint & Lime Bar Glasgow. Pale golden coloured, small creamy white head, mild malty nose. Sweet malty, light grainy and caramel with mild nutty notes in the finish. Simple and nice.

On tap at Teuchters. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - pale malt going into butterscotch. Taste - more of the same. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly clean finish though would’ve expected cleaner for a lager style beer. Overall - it didn’t really tick the lager box for me but rather reminded me of a cream ale.

Keg at the constitution... Very pale golden yellow... Thin white head... Oh my bloody hell... It smells cally all the way through... Over fizzy... Soft toffee malt... Light grass. But its no lager

Aroma: Almost no aroma - very subtle straw and earthy notes.

Appearance: Clear golden body with a medium white head that slowly fades. Average carbonation. Light lacing marks.

Taste: This does taste a little hoppier than most mass produced Lagers. The flavour is earthy, herbal and slightly vegetal.

Palate: Thin body with a watery texture. Average carbonation.

Overall: A reasonable Lager that has a little more flavour than most.
