An inconspicuous as beer, from which you can also drink a few times without having to think constantly, just to taste alcohol. Nice and long aftertaste. Overall not bad.

Bottle (330ml - Danke Stefan!): Amber coloured, small, stable off-white layer; solid sweet-dark-malty and fruity aroma with a tinge of roasted malt; robust sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; roast-malty, sweet, nutty finish with a distinctive, lingering bitterness in the very end. A well-balanced, tasty Bock, like a gently diluted Doppelbock........

(33cl Pülleken, mit Dank an Stefan !) Clear, copper colour with a medium-sized beige foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with caramel, an underlying fruity note of red berries and brandy-like alcohol when it warms a bit Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, soft and mellow mouthfeel. Solid toast-malty base with caramel and again a subtle fruitiness in combination with shy but present herbal notes; sweet malty, with a whiff of bittering hops and a noticeable alcoholic touch, which is non-disturbing but warming. Sweet but also aromatic and clean Bock.
