Das „Special“ vereint die Hopfung des Keller Pils mit einer kräftigen, süßlichen Malzigkeit und fruchtig-estrigem Ale-Charakter. Wunderbar aromatisch, aber nicht mächtig und leichter karbonisiert. Ein Bier, bei dem sich Hefe, Hopfen und Malz auf Augenhöhe begegnen.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with absurdely huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty and fruity hoppy aroma, hints of caramel and red berries. a cautious touch of peach and apricot, later some leafy and waxy overtones. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty, slightly fruity hoppy, cautious hints of red berries, peach and apricot. Way overcarbonated - therefore the flavours are prohibited from reaching the taste buds with adequate intensity.

0,33 l bottle from Craft Beer Kontor, Hannover. Unclear amber with a creme coloured one finger head in the glass. Smells sweet hopy malty. Taste starts crisp floral hopy bitter, getting a little bit dry, some citrus, hints of pepper, malty background. Not bad.
