La Jamonera is our highly fermented Amber Ale style beer. Toasted and reddish in color it is perfect to accompany a good ham sandwich. Made with roasted and caramelized malts that give it its characteristic fruit aromas.

Look: foggy amber colour, decent head of off-white colour. Nose: caramel malt, sunflower oil, candied fruit, esters. Fairly sweet. Taste: much drier, caramel malts also present, dried fruit, wort, sunflower oil, no hop presence so far. Maybe just a tiny bit in aftertaste. Palate: medium body. Average carbonation. Short ending. Generally: a bland a mostly mass market oriented beverage.

Tight off white head on a well carbonated reddish brown body. Minimal aroma of berry. Medium bodied, overly carbonated, thinning to the back. Malt, demerara, red berry, spices & caramel tastes.

0.33 bottle in Calella. Nice reddish-brown color that fits the category, especially large and nice head. Basic ale-malate aroma with small grassy hops in background. On the palate, the hops feel better, a transition to a "bitter". Moderately bitter, very fine, medium-bodied ale. Aftertaste with a little raisin flavor. Nice.
***
Kategóriához illő szép vörösesbarna szín, kifejezetten nagy és szép hab. Alap ale-malátás illat, háttérben kis füves komlóval. Ízre a komlók jobban érződnek, átmenet egy bitter felé. Közepesen keserű, nagyon finom, közepesen testes ale. Utóízében kis mazsolás íz. Nice.

Slightly opalescent orange to amber colour, minimal off-white head; aroma of grains, caramel, some boiled vegetables and slight floral notes; taste is the same with syrupy and hints of metallic notes; drinkable

Slightly unclear pale amber colour, mid-sized frothy off-white head, half-way lasting, heavy lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, brown sugar. Taste medium sweet and medium bitter, malty, bread, cardboard. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, husky and metallic notes. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, not really convincing amber ale.
