[Thanks to bierkoning]. 33cl bottle. Orangish colour with a formation of a white head, moderate lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is hoppy, fresh and slightly fruity. Flavour is strong bittery, dense on palate, smooth, notes of pine are present. The final is bittery with a good duration. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium. Texture is oily.

12 ounce bottle from the Best Damn Beer Store. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. A sweet orange flavor with light apricot. A rich sweet bitterness, some oranges, light oxidation (7 months old, the problem of IPAs from Europe). Rich and easy.

On tap at De Molen pouring deep copper with thin gold edges and tight nearly creamy light tan head. The aroma has sweet malts, some molasses, orange hard candy like nearly wort notes, grainy malts and some biscuit malts too. The taste has the same sort of wort sensation mixing with pine hop resin, some sugary orange hard candy notes and then spicy backed up by residual sugars. It all seems somewhat disjointed as the resiny hop bitterness doesn’t seem to play too well with the grainy biscuit malt bill.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty beige color ale with a relatively large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and light grapefruit notes with some light rustic malt notes. Taste is also dominated by medium rustic malt notes with limited sweetness level and also comprised notes of citrus and floral hops with a light dry bitter finish. Body was full with limited filtration and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Well brewed with solid malt backbone while not being overly sweet though additional hops presence would have been even better.

750 ml bottle @ Patricks. Slightly hazy orange body with a nice off-white head. Not very strong, but very nice aroma of caramel, grapefruit, pine and orange marmalade. Flavor is sweet malty, caramel, dry fruit, synthetic fruit, oranges, spices and balanced bitter. Full body. Very nice and balanced beer, I just had to have another one.

Bottle, slightly aged. Cloudy (shaken bottle) orange with a nice off-white cream. Light clay notes, a hint hay, otherwise fairly tropical and piney hop notes. Resin on the tongue, herbal notes, mango and citrus finish. Sparkly mouthfeel, medium body.

11.2 oz. bottle, pours an opaque / murky dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is harsh, with tropical fruits, harsh citrus hops, caramel malt sweetness and some booze. Flavour of bubblegum, tropical fruits, citrus hops, lots of caramel malt, candied sugar and booze. Quite a harsh flavour though I like the design and overall mesh of flavours. Full-bodied, fruity, bitter, sweet and boozy, all at once. Excellent.
