Smells pine, cheese. Small head, hazy amber. Medium to high sweet, less bitter. Slick texture, long finish, but lacks carbonation.

Unclear, orange-amber colored, medium frothy off white head, good lacing and mostly lasting. Aroma is of malt, caramel, tropical fruits, some citrus, pine-floral notes, moderate+ aroma. Taste is medium+ sweet caramel and malt, medium+ tropical fruit, pineapple and pine, some grapefruit hops, moderate bitterness, dryish finish, alcohol well hidden. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, oily-resiny. Very nice, potent yet very drinkable. (bottle as Amarillo, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Közepes hab, nem túl hosszú időre. Színe homályos borostyán. Ipás, kissé karamelles illat. Nem semmi, érezni rajta a korát (palackozva: 2013.08.20. ittam: 2015.10.10.), szinte már olyan, mintha fahordóban érlelték volna, testes, vaníliás, kissé édeskés, enyhe keserűvel. Szuper sör, igazi öröm ilyet inni.

Sampled at Lentebierfestiv 2016 in The Hague. Clear amber with a medium height white head. Malty sweet and medium to full bodied with notes of pine and citrus hops, as well as unripe mango. Very well done, one of those well made malt-forward IIPAs.

330ml bottle. As Amarillo. (9.3% ABV) Pours a hazy medium orange with a large, frothy, off-white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Sweet aroma of tropical fruit, peach, grapefruit, caramel malt, pine needles, grass, light spice and soap. Sweet flavour of tropical fruit, grapefruit, caramel malt, grass, pine needles and light spice with a resiny, dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Pretty good.

BOTTLE 33 CL as Amarillo at 9,3% and 60 IBUs. Hazy amber, big creamy ivory head. Rich milk caramel aroma, tons of dank piney hops (but not much tropical). The taste is just as malty and hoppy, dank and very pungent zesty finish. Smooth velvety body, not sticky and easy drinking. Good stuff.

(330ml bottle as De Molen Amarillo @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Jan 22 2016) Pours lightly hazed bright pale orange with a big lingering white head and lace. Aroma of orange oil and flesh, light tropical fruit tones, grassy and floral hops, slightly sweet malts with a bit of caramel. Palate is rather sweet with caramel and sugar, orange flesh, some citrus peel, herbal peppery hops, a bit of graininess. Finish is lightly sweet, moderate astringent bitterness, pith and spicy hops, touches of grass, pine and grain. Medium full body, fairly soft carb. Not the brightest hopping but well integrated with the malt in a light strong ale sort of way. Easy drinking.
